The Translation of St German on 1 October was a day to remember. During the service, there were four candidates put forward for Confirmation, John Paul, Abigail, Stephanie and Hannah and they are pictured below with Father Roy, Vicar of St German’s and Bishop David, Provincial Assistant Bishop.

The service was followed by a reception in the Church Hall before the Friends of St German’s held its Annual General Meeting after which there was Evensong and Benediction.

October 2, the celebration of the Dedication of the Church was well supported and the Venerable Martin Williams, former Vicar of the Parish preached at the Solemn Mass. This was followed by a Parish Lunch in the Church Hall.
